FAQ
-
What is Pre-Production?
Pre-Production is the development stage of your video project. We work with you to develop scripts, decide on style, what locations and talent may be required and set out a plan for shooting.
-
Can I keep the original footage?
We don’t typically supply original footage as standard. Think of this process like ordering a meal on a high end restaurant. You are paying for the finished meal or in this case video. The reason for this is that raw footage is much like an uncooked piece of fish or raw vegetables. It’s unprepared and often looks nothing like the finished product.

What is the difference between Major and Minor Edit Revisions?
Major revisions are defined as any significant changes to the narrative of the story, edit, inclusion, and removal of entire scenes or VOs, change in soundtrack, and anything that significantly impacts the overall story or visual. Minor revisions are defined as any minor rearrangement, removal, edit, or addition of footage that won’t significantly affect the narrative or story such as audio levels and color balance.

Even something as seemingly simple as changing a name graphic can take up to 60 minutes because once a project is completed we archive everything. Further edit changes will be charged at our current rates - billed at $150 per hour with a minimum of charge of $150.
-
Who do I call if something needs changing on a video or I can’t figure something out?
Every project we work on has a lead team member point of contact throughout the production. Please ask us if you are unsure who this is.
-
What happens after the edit if I want to make further changes?
Once your video is completed and signed off or the number of edit revisions have been used up any further editing will be charged at our current rates - billed at $150 per hour with a minimum of charge of $150.

How will I know if anyone is watching my video?
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube have in depth statistics software on your video where you can see a wide range of statistics about your video including a number of views, length of views and the amount of time people are spending on your video page and channel.
-
What happens if I want to add something new to the video while you’re creating it?
Whilst we like to be flexible and responsive to your needs, we also like to deliver what we promise within the time frames and budgets we have allowed. If your new idea is something you would like to add to your video but is not directly tied to your original objectives then we will suggest an updated cost estimate based in the extra work. This will require a new proposal.

I’ve posted the video on my website, Facebook, LinkedIn and Youtube but nobody is watching it?New List Item
Most social media channels are what we refer to as ‘Pay to Play’, which means only a small percentage of your page likes or fans and in some cases subscribers on YouTube can see it. However, there are a number of factors that can improve your chances. We are happy to talk to more about your video amplification strategy if we haven’t already.
